Areas of Practice
My academic concentration in law school was civil litigation. During law school I had an internship at the New York State Attorney General’s Office dealing primarily with consumer fraud cases and lawsuits against the state filed by prison inmates. My first job after law school was in private practice as a trusts and estates attorney along with some criminal tax defense work. Then I went to the District Attorney’s Office…
I became one of the youngest supervisors in the history of the office. I prosecuted complex and difficult cases with incredible success. I instructed my fellow prosecutors and law enforcement personnel on procedure and tactics.
Why should you care about any of this?
Well, I believe the best type of lawyer is one with a wide variety of experience handling many different legal situations. No two cases or situations are exactly alike. Having such an extensive legal background will allow me to tailor advice and solutions to your individual needs. But that background and experience must translate into results. I achieved those results as a private attorney and a prosecutor. Now I want to achieve those results for you.
Therefore I have decided to focus my practice on the following areas:
- Criminal defense in both state and federal court
- Family law matters such as custody, visitation, child support and divorce
- Driving While Intoxicated offenses, both felony and misdemeanor
- Traffic offenses including speeding, unlicensed operation, and moving violations
